A Message from Rabbi Goldstein: Renewing Our Commitment

Rabbi David Goldstein

Dear friends,

As we enter the spring season and prepare for Passover, I find myself reflecting on the themes of renewal and liberation that are central to this time of year. The Passover story reminds us that freedom is not just a historical event but an ongoing responsibility. We are called to pursue justice, welcome the stranger, and work toward a world where every person can live in dignity.

I am incredibly proud of how our congregation has lived these values over the past year. From our Social Action Committee's monthly meal service to our Religious School students' community projects, Beth Shalom members continue to demonstrate that Jewish values are not abstract ideals but concrete actions.

Looking Ahead

This spring brings exciting opportunities for learning and connection. Our Scholar-in-Residence weekend in May will challenge us to think about Jewish ethics in new ways, and our Community Seder will bring us together in celebration and gratitude.

I look forward to sharing these moments with you.

B'shalom,
Rabbi David Goldstein
