Shabbat Morning Service

Synagogue sanctuary prepared for Shabbat morning worship

Our Saturday morning Shabbat service offers a deeper engagement with the weekly Torah portion through study and worship. This service includes a full Torah reading and is often the setting for B'nei Mitzvah celebrations, where our young people read from the Torah for the first time.

Service Elements

  • Shacharit (morning) prayers
  • Torah service with weekly parasha reading
  • D'var Torah (Torah commentary) by the Rabbi or Bar/Bat Mitzvah student
  • Musaf (additional) service
  • Kiddush luncheon following the service

The Saturday morning service is more contemplative than our Friday evening worship and provides an opportunity for in-depth Torah study. All are welcome, including those new to Jewish worship.
